The only child of two amazing parents, Gordon Olivant has a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Economics and a Master of Business Administration in Investments & Finance. After college, he worked for a large multinational corporation for more than a decade in a progression of middle management & leadership roles working is real estate, corporate development and mergers & acquisitions. Later he joined a start up private equity firm as a partner for a couple years before it closed its doors. An American by choice having been born and raised in Canada, Gordon took the oath of citizenship in 2007. He and his wife Dianne live near New York City with their beloved, and loyal, Labrador Retriever.
